Christmas Service at St Cuthbert's Dec 17

On the morning of Friday 22nd December, the whole school went to St Cuthbert's church to attend a Christmas service, led by Reverend Ian. Family and friends were also invited so the church was full to the rafters.
The service was structured around the Christmas story, interspersed with readings, hymns and prayers. Representatives from every year group came out to the front to took part.
Our recorder club did themselves proud when they played a couple of Christmas tunes for us.
During the service, willow mannequins were brought up to the front at relevant times to build up the Nativity tableaux. They were far larger than we thought they would be!
Everyone had a very special and memorable time and went away feeling spiritually enlightened and ready for Christmas.
